Culinary Associate

About the role

Join the vibrant Moxy hotel kitchen team as a Culinary Associate. You will support food preparation and cooking operations while upholding the brand’s high standards for quality, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor food temperature, test doneness, and ensure consistent quality.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen environment.
• Follow all company safety, security and food‑safety policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related culinary or food‑service experience.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Willingness to work full‑time in an onsite hotel kitchen.

Required skills

• Food preparation techniques (chopping, portioning, mixing).
• Operation of kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers).
• Food safety and sanitation practices.
