Customer Journey Expert - Payments

About the role

ING is seeking a Customer Journey Expert – Payments to shape and deliver next‑generation payment solutions for corporate and financial institution clients. You will own functional delivery across the full payment value chain, collaborating with Wholesale Banking, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end delivery of SEPA, Domestic and International Payments initiatives, from requirement clarification through go‑live and continuous improvement.
• Translate product priorities, client needs and regulatory requirements into clear business and functional requirements, epics, features and delivery roadmaps.
• Prepare, coordinate and execute functional and user acceptance testing, manage defects and evidence of acceptance.
• Support implementation and rollout activities, including stakeholder communication, documentation and handover to operations.
• Monitor product usage, incidents and client feedback, turning insights into concrete improvements.
• Work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security and Data teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in product delivery, business analysis, customer journey management, digital banking, payments or financial services.
• Experience translating business needs into requirements and working with technology teams through design, build, test and implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Turkish is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEPA, Domestic or International Payments (or ability to develop quickly).
• Experience working in an Agile environment with distributed international teams.
