Customer Project Manager – Recycling Projects

About the role

TOMRA is looking for a Customer Project Manager to lead recycling projects across Türkiye, the Middle East and Africa. You will own the project lifecycle from contract hand‑over to final acceptance, ensuring delivery meets TOMRA standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer projects through all phases: delivery, installation, commissioning, acceptance and closure.
• Review contracts, technical specifications and project assumptions, identifying risks and dependencies early.
• Coordinate customers with internal teams such as Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Service.
• Provide technical guidance on site readiness, installation requirements and plant layout.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, payment milestones and cost developments, escalating issues when needed.

Required profile

• Experience in project management, coordination, technical customer support or plant operations within an industrial environment.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, Process, Recycling Engineering or related technical discipline (preferred).
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills across cultures.
• Fluent Turkish and professional English.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% across Türkiye and the Middle East & Africa.

Required skills

• Interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
