Data Architect

About the role

ICterra is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, govern, and evolve enterprise cloud data architectures for OTT, CRM, ISP, and analytics platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analytics, and software development teams to deliver scalable, secure, high‑performance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across the enterprise.
• Define and implement cloud‑native data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
• Establish data integration standards, ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT, streaming, and batch processing.
• Set up data governance, metadata management, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
• Ensure data consistency, lineage, and traceability, and enforce GDPR‑compliant security, encryption, masking, and access controls.
• Optimize storage, partitioning, indexing, and query performance for large analytical workloads.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend best‑practice architectural improvements.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, warehousing, or enterprise data architecture.
• At least 3 years in a hands‑on Data Architecture or Solution Architecture role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture methodologies and dimensional modeling (Kimball, Data Vault).

• SQL and performance optimization.
• Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS.
• Big data technologies: Spark, Databricks.
• Data integration: ETL/ELT, Kafka, Pub/Sub, event‑driven architectures.
• Data governance, metadata, lineage, MDM.
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Airflow.
