About the role
DeFacto is seeking an experienced Denim Designer to create collections that align with global fashion trends and the brand’s target customer group.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor world fashion trends and attend international fashion fairs.
- Conduct store visits and market analysis to inform design decisions.
- Develop designs and product ranges suitable for the brand’s audience.
- Collaborate with the product team on cost considerations.
- Participate in fit sessions to ensure appropriate fit for target customers.
Required profile
- B.F.A. or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience, especially in denim.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
