Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

The Desktop Support Engineer will provide on‑site, hands‑on technical assistance for hardware, software and endpoint devices at customer locations in Istanbul. The role involves troubleshooting, device provisioning, and supporting audio‑visual conference rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site troubleshooting of user devices, including hardware faults, driver issues, OS problems and peripheral support.
• Support laptop provisioning for both Windows and macOS environments.
• Manage devices using Intune and JAMF, including configuration, patch deployment and compliance.
• Execute service requests such as MACDs, hardware changes, server reboots, power cycles and post‑deployment validation.
• Provide “Smart Hands & Feet” support for audio‑visual conference rooms and assist with live events.
• Coordinate with Service Desk, third‑party vendors and client support teams to resolve incidents.

Required profile

• Experience delivering on‑site desktop support for Windows and macOS platforms.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
• Ability to configure BIOS, hardware settings, OS drivers and core applications.
• Knowledge of encryption, VPN, authentication and network connectivity configuration.
