EHS Leader South East Region

About the role

Viessmann is seeking an experienced EHS Leader for the South‑East Region, based in Istanbul. The role will oversee environmental, health and safety policies across Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Serbia, ensuring compliance with local laws, corporate standards and Carrier Group requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage all aspects of occupational health, safety and environment for European services and projects.
• Develop and implement EHS plans aligned with the strategic direction of commercial and residential business units.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams to achieve optimal EHS performance.
• Design and deploy operational controls, policies and practices specific to each unit.
• Coach management teams on EHS responsibilities and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Assess EHS resource needs during project proposal phases and manage subcontractor safety performance.
• Deliver EHS training and development programs across the region.

Required profile

• Proven ability to provide strategic EHS leadership across multiple countries.
• Experience collaborating with senior management and driving EHS initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Capability to develop and monitor EHS programs, policies and operational controls.
