Electrical Engineer – Maintenance Department

About the role

Tüpraş, Türkiye's leading energy producer and largest industrial company, is looking for an Electrical Engineer for its Maintenance Department. The role covers electrical equipment maintenance at the refinery, in line with refinery, national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and monitor all maintenance activities for electrical equipment according to refinery standards and procedures, as well as national and international standards.
• Monitor, report and resolve nonconformities found during legally mandated periodic inspections.
• Create, monitor and supervise work plans within maintenance planning, provide material controls and ensure timely completion of work.
• Manage the electrical scope during planned and interim shutdowns.
• Check the quality and efficiency of work and propose improvements.
• Take part in joint project work with the maintenance unit and evaluate it from a maintenance perspective.
• Carry out warehouse stock studies for maintenance needs and monitor contractor work and payments.
• Take an active role in occupational health and safety.
• Follow developments in electrical systems, adapt new technologies to the refinery or run pilot applications, and implement improvement suggestions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Advanced level of English.
• Analytical, innovative mindset, good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, and a team player with a go-getter attitude.
