Electrical Operations & Maintenance Manager

About the role

WE Soda is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead electrical operations and maintenance at its industrial facilities in Turkey. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while driving equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical operations and maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.
• Ensure continuous operation of medium‑ and high‑voltage (MV/HV) electrical systems, substations, power distribution infrastructure and associated equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance planning, work orders, technical procedures and documentation.
• Monitor system performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, spare parts and resource optimisation.
• Lead, develop and manage electrical teams and supervise contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical operations and maintenance in industrial facilities, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in large‑scale continuous‑process industries such as chemicals, mining, energy or petrochemicals.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environment culture.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with medium‑ and high‑voltage electrical systems, substations and power distribution networks.
• Knowledge of electrical protection systems and motor control systems.
• Expertise in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, equipment reliability and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP PM or other CMMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
