Electronics Technician

About the role

The Electronics Technician ensures timely delivery of equipment to meet operational demands while reducing non‑productive time on the product line. The role focuses on improving maintenance efficiency, asset utilization, and overall productivity within the Maintenance Base.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and reliability‑centered maintenance strategy.
• Record materials, labor, and equipment performance in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve asset turnaround, and lower cost of service delivery.
• Participate in failure investigations and implement planned repair and part‑reuse projects.
• Comply with TLM product line standards and competency management requirements.

Required profile

• Associate degree or vocational high‑school diploma in Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering/Technology.
• Preferably at least 2 years of hands‑on field or maintenance experience in an industrial or technical environment.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial facilities, or oil & gas with a strong safety culture.
• Functional technical English reading comprehension.

Required skills

• Strong foundation in electronics.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) tools.
• Understanding of reliability‑centered maintenance principles.
