Europe & Middle East Junior Buyer

About the role

RINA is seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to support its Europe & Middle East supply chain activities from our Istanbul office. You will work closely with business units to source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, ensuring cost‑effective and compliant procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing the supply chain strategy.
• Research and segment potential suppliers, keeping the vendor list up to date.
• Create and maintain supplier performance scorecards and risk passports.
• Support risk assessment processes to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and perform initial bid evaluations.
• Analyse purchasing data and produce basic reports.
• Conduct basic assessments of supplier capabilities and maintain key supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with business units on technical evaluations and tender participation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Finance.
• 1‑3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or a related field.
• Fluency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong research, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using supply chain or procurement software.
