Facilities Manager

About the role

A leading multinational manufacturing company with an established presence in Turkey is looking for a Facilities Manager through a recruitment consultant. The role oversees the company's facility operations, ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable management of its sites.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure facility operations comply with applicable regulations, company standards, policies and health and safety requirements.
• Develop and implement maintenance, repair, testing and inspection plans for reliable operation of equipment and systems.
• Manage integrated facility management services, including technical maintenance, cleaning, pest control, reception and security.
• Monitor contractor performance and service quality, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Ensure fire detection, alarm, extinguishing and emergency systems are properly maintained, inspected and tested, with accurate records kept.
• Monitor building and site energy performance, identify energy-saving opportunities and implement sustainability initiatives.
• Deliver facility and real estate projects in collaboration with local business and production teams, in line with company project management standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in facility management within a manufacturing environment and in delivering real estate projects is a strong advantage.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
