Feasibility-Die Process Engineer

About the role

The Feasibility-Die Process Engineer will support new vehicle programs, ensure stamping feasibility, and drive quality improvements for Ford Otosan and its global partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support new vehicle programs according to the Global Product Development System (GPDS) schedule.
• Check part design against Process Driven Product Design (PDPD) and give quick feedback during the feasibility phase.
• Provide stamping feasibility feedback using CATIA and AutoForm, proposing solutions for design and development teams.
• Review lessons learned from previous projects and create best‑in‑class quality solutions.
• Define process concepts, set parameters for main and alternative press lines, and contribute to die investment decisions.
• Generate cost‑saving and quality‑improvement actions for mass production.
• Prepare and outsource 3D data required for die design and manufacturing.
• Investigate new technologies to improve stamping operations and support tooling suppliers.

Required profile

• Graduate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Metallurgical or Materials Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in stamping engineering or sheet‑metal die manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet‑metal forming simulations using AutoForm.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 (preferably Generative Shape Design).
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to travel abroad.
