Stamping Technology Automation Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

Join Ford Otosan in shaping the future of the automotive industry by ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of stamping technology and related equipment at the Gölcük plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair activities on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems according to standards and planned maintenance practices.
• Monitor equipment failure frequencies, implement preventive actions and reduce recovery times.
• Coordinate maintenance workers, ensure occupational safety compliance and manage related workforce.
• Organize TPM‑based planned maintenance and optimize industrial material consumption.
• Support maintenance management systems, develop procedures and identify training needs.
• Lead accidental, planned and preventive maintenance, oversee purchases, technical evaluations and new equipment commissioning.
• Drive Industry 4.0 and smart production initiatives, including digital transformation projects.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance, repair and team‑management experience.
• Experience with TPM and Lean manufacturing.
• Strong English proficiency and good command of MS Office.
• Completed military service (for male candidates) and residence in Kocaeli province.

Required skills

• Robotic systems knowledge.
• Industrial automation expertise.
• Understanding of mechanical presses.
• Ability to read mechanical technical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams.
