Finance & Accounting Manager

About the role

The Finance & Accounting Manager will lead daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate records, timely closings, and compliance with Turkish regulations and global standards. The role works closely with local departments and global finance teams to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily finance and accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and group reporting packages in line with local requirements and IFRS.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and working‑capital management.
• Coordinate tax compliance, audit activities and internal‑control improvements.
• Develop and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring strong collaboration across departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Proven track record in managing month‑end and year‑end closings, financial reporting and issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax regulations, IFRS and international group reporting.
• Experience in a multinational environment, preferably retail, wholesale, e‑commerce or import.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and validation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and ability to improve ERP workflows.
• Solid analytical skills for budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Turkish tax requirements.
