Finance Analyst – Istanbul (Turkey)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Istanbul team. You will act as the primary finance liaison for the local business, supporting day‑to‑day operations while collaborating with regional finance colleagues, external accountants, banks and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, analyse performance versus budget, forecast and prior year, and highlight variances, risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ad‑hoc financial analyses.
• Coordinate with the external accounting provider to ensure a smooth month‑end close.
• Review accounting information, reconciliations, accruals and inter‑company balances.
• Manage cash monitoring, banking, payments, receivables, expenses and inter‑company transactions.
• Partner with the sales team and other stakeholders to provide financial insights for commercial decisions.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisers and other external parties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls and approval requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting and systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial controlling or a comparable finance role.
• Strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and month‑end closing processes.
• Experience in a multinational or international environment is a plus.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
• High level of ownership, reliability and attention to detail.
