Finance Operations & FP&A Lead

About the role

Join a fast‑moving e‑commerce company as the operational backbone of finance. This individual‑contributor position owns management finance, reporting, cash‑flow visibility, payroll operations and process improvement, with strong growth potential.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget vs. actual, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Monitor P&L, reconciliations and margin data to catch inconsistencies early.
• Map, refine and automate finance processes across internal and external systems.
• Drive AI‑supported automation to reduce manual work.
• Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain on COGS visibility and SKU‑level profitability.
• Oversee payroll and contractor payments via automated tools.
• Act as financial advisor to Commercial, Purchasing, Operations and Warehousing.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, finance operations, audit or controller roles.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining P&L, cash‑flow, budgets and forecasts.
• Experience working with external accountants or tax advisors.
• Background in multi‑entity, multi‑currency e‑commerce, retail or logistics businesses is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (C1); Spanish a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Looker, Power BI).
• SQL, Python, Make, Zapier, APIs.
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude.
