Financial Analyst

About the role

AbbVie is hiring a Financial Analyst in Istanbul, reporting to the FP&A Manager. The role covers the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements and management reports, and contributes to the development of Annual Plans and their updates.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor monthly budget-versus-actual performance and turn findings into reports that support business performance.
• Collect, analyse and manage quantitative data, and contribute to Annual Plans and their updates.
• Support the commercial business unit in determining sales and expense forecasts.
• Understand the flow of sales transactions across systems to find opportunities for better data capture and reconciliation.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative insights to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of finance experience, with a background in financial analysis, budgeting, planning and reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Advanced written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
