Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead Unifree Duty Free’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and strategic finance activities, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Director.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the leadership team to support short‑ and long‑term financial objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing FP&A team.
• Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term business planning processes.
• Develop financial models, long‑term forecasts and strategic analyses to support growth decisions.
• Monitor economic trends, inflation and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Review and challenge operational plans, budgets and forecasts for accuracy and alignment.
• Oversee monthly management reporting, ensuring timely and insightful delivery to senior leadership.
• Prepare and present financial reporting packs and performance analyses for group reporting.
• Partner with business leaders to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain internal controls, financial policies and governance in compliance with IFRS.
• Lead relationships with internal and external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
• Oversee business cases, investment analyses and financial evaluations for strategic initiatives.
• Drive finance digitalisation and transformation to improve reporting, automation and processes.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership for key business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field (Master’s, CPA, ACCA or CFA a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and audit.
• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably within the retail sector.
• Strong people‑management experience, with the ability to coach and develop teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
