Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

Rönesans Holding is recruiting a Financial Reporting Specialist to join its headquarters in Ankara. The role covers preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements and reporting packages, analytical reviews and coordination with group companies, external auditors and financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and reporting packages on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Perform quarterly financial statement analytical reviews at consolidated level and report to top management.
• Coordinate with group companies and business units to ensure timely and accurate reporting submissions.
• Manage relations with external auditors, other reporting groups and financial institutions.
• Develop and implement IT tools used in the financial reporting process.
• Streamline accounting policies across group companies.
• Prepare and support management reports such as NWC, KPI reporting and liquidity management.
• Assist with documentation for audit, tenders and national and international organisations.
• Monitor covenants and undertakings under financing agreements and take action where needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or another administrative science department from a reputable university.
• At least 3 years of experience; experience in Big 4 audit firms, the real sector and the construction sector is a plus.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Military service completed for male candidates.

Required skills

• Good understanding of IFRS standards; consolidation experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills, and SAP experience.
• Analytical thinking, teamwork, negotiation and deadline-oriented work.
• CPA degree or nomination is a plus.
