Frontend Developer

About the role

Hiredbuddy is looking for an entry‑level Frontend Developer to join its remote‑first engineering team. You will work closely with senior developers and product managers to turn UI/UX designs into responsive web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to implement pixel‑perfect UI components.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Debug and resolve front‑end performance and accessibility issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging front‑end technologies and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• React (preferred front‑end framework).
• Version control with Git.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
• Build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
• Familiarity with testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) is a plus.
