Full Stack Platform Engineer

About the role

Vagon streams high-performance cloud computers and applications to any device through the browser, for use by human or AI agents. It is a small team where every engineer owns problems end to end. The Full Stack Platform Engineer builds across the whole platform: the Vagon Core API (backend and control plane covering machine lifecycle, session orchestration and APIs), the Vagon Frontend (web app and in-browser streaming client), and, as you ramp up, the Linux and Windows streaming agents.

Required profile

• 4+ years shipping production web services and their frontends
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Linux, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Care about reliability and observability; has been on call
• Curious about real-time systems such as video, networking and latency

Required skills

• Strong backend skills in Ruby, Python or similar, comfortable in JavaScript and React
• Bonus: C++, Rust or Go on Windows or Linux, video encoding or WebRTC, GPU or remote-desktop stacks, OpenTelemetry
