Gateway Supervisor - Sunrise Export & Import Operations

About the role

UPS is hiring a Gateway Supervisor for its Sunrise export and import operations. The role supervises and coordinates daily export and import operations, leads and develops the team, and ensures compliance with company policies, customs regulations and security requirements. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Sunrise export and import operations so they run smoothly and on time.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to meet operational targets and maintain high performance.
• Monitor daily performance, spot gaps and put corrective actions in place.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, security requirements and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments, airline partners and customs authorities to resolve operational issues.
• Make sure export and import shipments are handled and processed correctly in line with service commitments.
• Monitor workload, resource allocation and staffing to keep operations running.
• Identify process improvements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support cost optimization and prepare operational reports and improvement plans for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Aviation or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in air cargo, logistics or gateway operations.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage several priorities at once.
