General Accountant – Hotel Finance

About the role

As a General Accountant at our iconic hotel in Istanbul, you will play a pivotal role in guiding financial operations and supporting the strategic goals of the property. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage key accounting functions, and help create memorable guest experiences through sound financial stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial strategy execution by aligning operations with the hotel’s profitability and efficiency goals.
• Provide financial insights through performance reviews, account reconciliations, and recommendations for leadership.
• Manage core financial operations including Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Night Audit, while maintaining internal controls.
• Oversee preparation and review of monthly financial statements, cash receipt coding, and internal audit support.
• Monitor and approve financial transactions such as ledger reconciliations, tax filings, and payroll to ensure compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the accounting team, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a high‑performing environment.
