General Accounting Specialist / Assistant Specialist

About the role

The General Accounting Specialist supports daily accounting operations, handling invoices, bank transactions, and import accounting. The role also contributes to month‑end and period‑end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record purchase and sales invoices in the Netsis ERP system.
• Process expense invoices, bank transactions, and current account entries.
• Prepare reconciliations and perform balance checks for current accounts.
• Review and record import invoices, customs declarations, and related expenses.
• Account for foreign currency transactions and verify exchange differences.
• Support VAT and tax filing documentation preparation.
• Prepare reports and documents required for audits and financial affairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with Netsis ERP (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts and VAT applications.
• Valid Class B driving licence and willingness to handle external official tasks.
