Global Business Communication Trainer

About the role

Executive English Coaching is a training and communications consulting company based in Istanbul that teaches business English and cross-cultural communication to professionals whose English is at least intermediate. It is not a language school and does not teach basic grammar or general English. It is looking for trainers who speak English as a first language, live in Yalova, Pendik, Gölcük, Karamürsel or within a 20-minute drive of Yalova, and have held executive positions in professional or corporate companies (preferably abroad). Knowledge of Turkish is strongly preferred, and having lived and worked abroad is an advantage. This is a contract position that can lead to a full-time one.

Key responsibilities

• Curate customized training content from the company's library of business books and online subscriptions, according to each client's needs or their employer's expectations.
• Deliver private or group sessions on topics such as Business Writing, Presentations in English, Negotiations, Persuasion Skills and Meetings in English.
• Create tools such as case studies, quizzes and exercises to assess client progress, and regularly draft assessment reports.

Required profile

• University degree.
• English as a first language; knowledge of Turkish is a plus.
• At least 5 years of employment in Turkey or overseas in roles requiring regular use of professional spoken and written English, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Solid understanding of business situations, corporate structures and processes, and of the cross-cultural communication challenges executives face.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with MS Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint.
