Global Logistics Specialist

About the role

Kordsa is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist to join its Global Purchasing Team. You will manage international shipments, coordinate with internal teams, and optimise freight operations to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shipments of raw materials, equipment, semi‑finished and finished products across sea, air, road and rail.
• Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, planning, warehouse and operational teams.
• Handle freight forwarder and carrier selection, RFQs, negotiations and contracts.
• Monitor service provider performance, prepare cost and risk reports, and optimise routes to reduce freight, demurrage and storage costs.
• Ensure compliance with customs and transportation regulations and develop contingency plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in sea (FCL/LCL), air, road and rail transport operations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with SAP and data‑analytic tools.
