Group Medical Manager – GU&GYN & GI Cancers

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to influence patient outcomes by leading medical affairs for GU&GYN and GI cancers. You will work at the intersection of scientific innovation and patient care, helping AstraZeneca maintain its reputation as a scientific leader.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive medical input to establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader in oncology.
• Engage with scientific leaders, professional societies, and key opinion leaders to generate evidence supporting brand strategies.
• Shape regulatory strategies to achieve rapid market access for new and existing products.
• Deliver training on product medical background across functions and ensure governance compliance.
• Coach team members, identify high‑expertise KEE’s, and collaborate on medico‑marketing activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with at least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, including 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry; oncology experience preferred.
• Managerial experience is an asset.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong coaching, leadership, facilitation, and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently and a valid driving licence.
