Guide Community Builder

About the role

We are a talent partner recruiting for a travel venture that reimagines how people explore the world and connect with local cultures. As the Guide Community Builder, you will be the first on‑the‑ground representative in Turkey, responsible for building and nurturing a community of tour guides.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and recruit high‑quality tour guides across Turkey using your network and destination knowledge.
• Onboard guides and serve as their primary point of contact, building trust and support.
• Coach guides to improve tour storytelling, creativity, and profitability.
• Foster a genuine community where guides feel part of a larger mission.
• Monitor community feedback, spot trends, and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Former guides, travel writers, storytellers, or individuals with a strong background in history, culture, or the humanities.
• Deep understanding of Turkish tourism, destinations, and what distinguishes an excellent guide.
• Existing network of guides in Turkey.
• Creative mindset with ideas for memorable experiences and storytelling.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a natural ability to inspire confidence.
• Coaching instinct to develop and elevate guide performance.
• Self‑directed, able to propose solutions without needing constant guidance.
• Passion for travel, history, and culture.
• Strong English communication, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable working across cultures and thinking beyond the local market.
• Commitment to a long‑term role that grows with the company.
