Gym Supervisor – Member Services & Fitness

About the role

We are seeking a Gym Supervisor to lead the Cowshed Active area at Soho House Istanbul, ensuring exceptional service for members and overseeing fitness programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and care for guests throughout their stay in the Cowshed Active space.
• Prepare and serve non‑alcoholic beverages and maintain a stocked refreshment area.
• Deliver fitness programmes and provide personal training sessions on request.
• Monitor fitness instructors, support their professional development and ensure high instructional standards.
• Advise guests on the full range of courses, personal training options and fitness equipment.
• Create vouchers, bill services used at checkout and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain order, cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Cowshed Active area, including towel and product replenishment.
• Fill water jugs, provide fresh glasses and assist new staff to feel welcome and settled.

Required profile

• Degree in Sports Sciences (BESYO) or a recognised fitness certification.
• Strong instructional and motivational abilities.
• Approachable, reliable and service‑oriented attitude.
• Accurate, structured way of working.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
