About the role

The Head Baker will lead bakery operations, ensuring high quality, efficient production, and strict hygiene standards while supporting the overall culinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Determine daily food quantities with the supervising department head to control waste and maximize profitability.
• Maintain clean and hygienic refrigeration, cold storage, and workstations.
• Verify deliveries, report shortages, and ensure received goods meet quality standards.
• Coach team members on new menus, procedures, special events, and operational updates.
• Participate in food storage inspections and ensure attractive buffet displays.
• Oversee bakery production, supervise daily activities, and enforce recipes and quality standards.
• Manage inventory, food requisitions, and stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, sustainability, and food‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Experience supervising bakery staff and managing daily production.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food‑safety regulations.
• Ability to train, audit, and develop employees.
• Focus on operational excellence, presentation, and freshness.
