HR Coordinator - Payroll and Benefits

About the role

Nivea Beiersdorf's Turkey office in the Ayazağa region of Istanbul is looking for an HR Coordinator to join its regional people service team. The role handles pay, benefits and employee enquiries on a regional level, on a fixed-term contract of two years. The working model is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, pension and retirement plans, voluntary benefits), coordinating enrollments, changes and terminations with local HR colleagues
• Act as Level 2 contact for employee questions and keep up to date on payroll and benefits regulations, ensuring compliance with tax and labour laws and reporting requirements
• Process payroll for several countries, directly in Beiersdorf systems or through a provider, and maintain accurate payroll and benefits records
• Maintain and update salary structures and bonuses, and calculate payouts; collect time tracking and absence data and handle calculations such as maternity dates
• Process employee changes, deductions and withholdings, and generate payroll and benefits reports for management and regulators
• File employee records, archive documents and write letters on salary increases and bonuses
• Manage contracts with payroll and benefits providers, including procurement and purchase orders for renewals
• Support salary and benefit surveys, advise on local C&B topics such as gender parity certification, and handle expat payroll and international cases
• Act as data process owner for the Data Protection portal, keeping records up to date and completing annual checks

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent qualification/experience) in HR, with at least 4 years of experience
• Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits negotiation and administration
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations and benefits programs
• Fluent English and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
