Import & Export Specialist

About the role

The Import & Export Specialist will manage end‑to‑end import and export processes, ensuring timely shipments, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with suppliers, logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record import orders, track shipments, and coordinate arrival dates for road, air and sea transport.
• Manage customs documentation, work with brokers, and handle import duties and payments.
• Organise export transportation, prepare invoices and shipping documents, and communicate shipment status to customers.
• Obtain and evaluate freight offers, coordinate payments with Finance, and raise claims on invoices when needed.
• Maintain communication with customs brokers, suppliers and logistics providers, including handling Inward Processing Authorization Certificates (DİİB).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in import/export operations, customs procedures and international logistics.
• Advanced English for international communication and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and follow‑up abilities, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
