Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

Kordsa is seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join its Global Internal Audit Team. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on audit projects across all Kordsa sites, with a focus on financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and fraud risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, conduct, and report on scheduled audit projects according to the annual audit plan.
• Perform fieldwork, gather evidential support, and provide recommendations with clear conclusions.
• Follow up on action plans to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
• Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits, emphasizing IFRS compliance and internal controls.
• Support fraud risk assessments, investigations, and whistleblower case reviews.
• Utilize data‑analytics tools to identify control weaknesses, unusual transactions, and fraud indicators.
• Mentor junior auditors and contribute to their professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, IT or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in a Big 4 firm, forensic services, or internal audit of a multinational, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls and IFRS.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFE, ACCA, CMA are advantageous.
• Fluent written and spoken English and able to travel internationally up to two months per year.

Required skills

• Data‑analytics tools: SQL, Python, Power BI, ACL, advanced Excel.
• ERP systems knowledge, preferably SAP 4HANA.
