Internal Auditor - Risk and Compliance

About the role

Organik Kimya is looking for a Solution Partner, Internal Auditor to strengthen its Risk and Compliance Department and support the expansion of audit activities across the organization. You will help execute and continuously improve financial and operational audits, identify control gaps, improve business processes and ensure effective internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial and operational audits in line with the annual internal audit plan
• Cover key business processes such as finance, accounting, sales, procurement, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, warehouse management and cost accounting
• Review transactions, supplier payments, advances and employee expenses for accuracy and compliance with internal policies
• Perform process reviews, data analysis, sampling and audit testing to find risks, inconsistencies and control weaknesses
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements
• Analyze data, investigate unusual transactions and support audit conclusions with evidence
• Document procedures, findings and evidence, and prepare audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Follow up on findings and support monitoring of corrective actions
• Help build structured audit plans, methodologies and reporting practices, and improve the Internal Audit function

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a corporate internal audit function or an audit and advisory firm; manufacturing experience is an asset
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and financial analysis
• Experience in financial and operational audits, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation and audit testing
• Familiarity with internal audit methodologies, audit programs, working papers and reporting
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel, with data analysis
• ERP systems: extracting, analyzing and interpreting financial and operational data
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and reporting
