International Logistics Specialist

About the role

TEMSA, a manufacturer of buses and midibuses with a presence in nearly 70 markets, is looking for an International Logistics Specialist based in Adana. The role covers coordinating orders and shipments with international suppliers, managing inventory and improving supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with international suppliers and coordinate orders and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks through corrective and preventive actions, including on-site supplier visits when required.
• Optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability and efficient stock management.
• Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives, including lead-time reduction and delivery reliability programs.
• Develop and implement sustainable, system-driven solutions to improve supply chain efficiency and prevent recurring issues.
• Lead material planning and coordination for new product and project launches.
• Monitor supplier performance and define continuous improvement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international logistics, supply chain, material planning or transportation operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of international transportation, import/export operations, customs processes and Incoterms.
• Advanced English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work with global suppliers, logistics providers and cross-functional teams, and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
• No travel restrictions; must be based in Adana or willing to relocate there.

• MS Office, advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Analytical, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills.
