Planning and Export Operations Specialist

About the role

FFC, a newly established fragrance and flavor compound company based in Istanbul, Turkey, is looking for a Planning and Export Operations Specialist. The role coordinates customer orders, production planning and delivery, and manages export operations and international shipments. The company operates from an 8,400 m² high-tech facility with a 25,000-ton annual capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer orders and coordinate production and delivery planning.
• Track order deadlines, production status and stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with the Production, Sales and Logistics teams for efficient order management.
• Follow up on customer orders to ensure timely and complete dispatch.
• Manage export operations and coordinate international shipment arrangements.
• Prepare export documentation and ensure it is accurate and on time.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment progress and follow up on potential delays or issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in export operations.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills, with strong follow-up skills and the ability to handle multiple processes at once.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-focused approach.
