International Sales Business Development Senior Specialist – Africa

About the role

The company seeks an International Sales Business Development Senior Specialist/Manager to drive growth across high‑potential African markets. You will identify new customers, partners and manage end‑to‑end commercial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers, distributors and strategic partners in Sub‑Saharan, West, East and North Africa.
• Generate business opportunities through trade fairs, customer visits and on‑the‑ground activities.
• Analyze market growth opportunities, competitive dynamics and create tailored action plans.
• Manage commercial cycles from needs analysis to pricing, L/C negotiation and contract execution.
• Navigate regional import/export regulations, customs and cross‑border payment risks.
• Drive pipeline management to convert leads into long‑term key accounts.
• Monitor market trends, currency risks and competitor movements, collaborating with supply chain, pricing and legal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of international sales experience, preferably with African market exposure.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication and negotiation skills.
• Results‑oriented with excellent follow‑up and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally across the assigned region.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
