IT Manager – System Administration & Infrastructure

About the role

Ticimax, a leading e‑commerce platform, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead system administration and infrastructure initiatives. You will shape the technology landscape, drive innovation, and ensure robust, secure operations across physical, virtual, and container environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary IT team, handling recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term strategic plans for infrastructure growth and technology adoption.
• Maintain seamless operation of physical servers, vSphere/ESXi, Windows Server 2022, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), and Kubernetes clusters.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions (e.g., Veeam, Zabbix).
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS Service Provider Level 1 and ISO 27001 standards, implementing security policies.
• Manage IT budget, optimize processes to meet SLAs, and report system status to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of IT management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities.

Required skills

• vSphere/ESXi, Windows Server 2022, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu).
• Kubernetes management and container technologies.
• DevOps processes (CI/CD) and network security.
• Backup and disaster recovery tools such as Veeam and Zabbix.
• PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance knowledge.
