IT / OT Manager

About the role

Magna Seating is seeking an experienced IT/OT Manager to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the local technology infrastructure supporting business and production at its Kocaeli plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize IT and OT services, ensuring high availability and compliance with Magna standards.
• Select hardware, software, and technology solutions for the plant and coordinate their lifecycle.
• Manage data backup, recovery, and protection for applicable systems.
• Lead local IT and OT teams, overseeing projects, priorities, risks, and escalations.
• Coordinate customer and stakeholder contacts for electronic data transfer and technology services.
• Ensure cybersecurity, quality management, and EHS compliance across all technology activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a computer/technology related field.
• Minimum 10 years of system administration experience in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of management or leadership experience.
• Fluent English; German is an asset.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to Kocaeli.

Required skills

• Experience with automotive EDI systems and customer integrations (especially Ford).
• Cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of IT and OT infrastructure, including cybersecurity and backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0, MES, and shop‑floor connectivity.
