IT Specialist – Network & Systems Administration

About the role

We are looking for an IT Specialist to manage and support the office’s network and systems infrastructure. You will ensure reliable connectivity, maintain servers, and provide end‑user support across macOS, Windows and Linux environments for our fast‑growing legaltech company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Administer macOS, Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and device provisioning.
• Monitor network performance, uptime and security; troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement backup, patching and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Maintain printers, meeting‑room equipment and other office technology.
• Liaise with ISPs and hardware/software vendors.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in network or system administration.
• Strong Linux command‑line and service management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with macOS and Windows environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN and firewall concepts.
• Ability to work independently and document procedures clearly.

Required skills

• Linux administration (command line, scripting).
• macOS and Windows system support.
• Networking equipment: MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cisco (nice to have).
• Scripting languages: Bash, Python.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (nice to have).
• Ticketing/PM tools: Jira, Zendesk, ClickUp.
• Information‑security standards awareness (ISO 27001).
• Relevant certifications: CCNA, LPIC, CompTIA Network+ (nice to have).
