IT Support Analyst - Application Operations

About the role

A partner company is recruiting an IT Support Analyst for Application Operations, based in Turkey, to join an IT operations environment supporting critical banking applications. The analyst investigates recurring incidents, identifies root causes and implements sustainable solutions, working with developers, software vendors and internal IT teams. The role covers application monitoring, configuration management, incident resolution and user access administration.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze recurring IT incidents, find root causes and implement corrective measures to improve application reliability.
• Troubleshoot application errors in test environments with developers and vendors.
• Monitor banking applications and IT systems, optimise monitoring and look for automation opportunities.
• Configure and administer banking applications, especially OpenLease, including settings, workflows and user roles.
• Provide first- and second-level application support and contribute to major incident management.
• Process access requests and maintain permissions in line with security policies.
• Document investigations, workarounds, configuration changes and incidents, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT application support or application operations, preferably in a complex enterprise or financial services environment.
• Solid understanding of incident management, problem management, troubleshooting and IT service management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, able to work with technical teams, business stakeholders and external providers.
• Very good German and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Experience with IT service management and documentation tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Technical understanding of application environments, system configurations, monitoring and software troubleshooting.
• Advantageous: monitoring tools such as Splunk, basic SQL, familiarity with banking applications, financial services regulations and IT security policies.
