IT Systems & Network Administrator Trainee

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic early‑career professional to join our IT team as a Systems & Network Administrator Trainee. You will receive hands‑on training to support and maintain our global IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security and performance for both internal users and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers and firewalls.
• Administer Linux‑based servers to ensure high availability and performance.
• Support and maintain production‑critical business applications and systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise network and server performance.
• Document procedures and expand the IT knowledge base.
• Provide responsive support to internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global teams and adhere to corporate IT policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant coursework or certifications such as CCNA or Linux+ (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and ability to differentiate switches, routers and firewalls.
• Experience installing Linux distributions and basic knowledge of virtualization.
• Good grasp of IT security principles and best practices.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
