Java Developer (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Java Developer to join its software development team in Istanbul, Turkey. This is a temporary role with a fixed-term contract of up to three years. You will help build scalable, high-quality applications in an agile environment, working with back-end, service-layer and business teams across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
• Collaborate with back-end and service-layer teams to ensure seamless integration
• Take part in code reviews and improve development practices
• Design, build and optimise scalable microservice-based solutions
• Support the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and web services
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and software quality initiatives
• Help make software reliable, maintainable and production-ready

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 1-4 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Agile mindset focused on delivery and customer experience
