Java Software Architect

About the role

OBSS, Turkey's largest technology consultancy, is looking for a Java Software Architect to join its team and deliver end-to-end software solutions across diverse industries. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain high-quality applications that solve real business problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software architecture for large-scale projects.
• Plan, design and deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Define and apply business policies and rules to support critical processes.
• Provide accurate and timely technical input to support decision-making.
• Evaluate and adopt new trend technologies for integrated systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical team members to coordinate tasks and ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Experience in the card payment systems industry.
• Involvement in at least 2 projects adopting new technologies for large-scale integrated systems.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to incorporate AI-powered tools into workflows.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Proven Java experience: JPA (Hibernate), JSF (PrimeFaces), JDBC, CDI or Spring, Bean Validation, Maven, REST.
• Spring Framework (MVC, Cloud, Boot, Data, Security).
• Familiarity with JavaScript technologies and experience with Angular 2+ preferred.
