L1 IT Technician

About the role

Join Hemmersbach as an L1 Onsite IT Technician and provide advanced technical support to end‑users in an international environment. You will work directly at customer sites in Istanbul, handling a wide range of hardware, software, and networking issues.

Key responsibilities

• Support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and workplace equipment.
• Assist with video‑conferencing systems, monitors, printers, phones and projectors.
• Install, configure and maintain standard software (Windows, Microsoft 365, iOS).
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Staff walk‑up IT desks or kiosks as needed.
• Provide smart‑hands support for servers, network devices and site equipment under remote guidance.
• Assist with basic router and switch installations and datacenter‑related tasks.
• Handle asset management and backup activities.
• Process tickets and requests in ITSM systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Good command of English and fluent Turkish.
• Communicative, supportive attitude and willingness to work onsite.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Office 365/Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with iOS devices.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD and Exchange Online.
• Use of ticketing/ITSM systems and basic asset management.
