Legal Advisor

About the role

ASEE Turkey is looking for a qualified Legal Advisor to provide legal support across corporate and commercial matters. The role suits a proactive, solution-oriented and collaborative legal professional who works closely with different teams and helps manage legal matters and risks. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on day-to-day business activities, identify legal risks and propose practical solutions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, corporate and other legal documents and agreements in line with applicable laws and Group standards.
• Ensure compliance with the Group's legal policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review corporate documents, powers of attorney, filings, statements, complaints and other legal documentation.
• Work with internal business teams and give clear, practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
• Prepare and deliver legal training to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law and admission to the Turkish Bar Association.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate environment or a reputable law firm.
• Previous experience in or solid knowledge of the technology or finance sector is preferred; experience in payment systems, fintech or financial technologies is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Business-oriented, proactive and solution-focused approach.
