Long-Term Intern – Electrical & Electronics Engineer

About the role

This long‑term internship is based at the Büyükçekmece Technology Center, where you will work alongside the Automation & Maintenance Support Engineer. You will gain practical experience in industrial automation, electrical maintenance, and contribute to real technical projects within the building materials sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day automation and electrical maintenance activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting PLCs, drives, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Assist in preparing and updating electrical drawings, schematics, equipment lists, and other technical documentation.
• Collect, organize, and analyse maintenance and equipment performance data to produce reports and improvement proposals.
• Participate in small‑scale automation, electrical, and digitalisation projects, following maintenance plans and work orders.
• Support spare‑parts and equipment information tracking while complying with occupational health and safety rules.

Required profile

• Final‑year undergraduate, master’s student, or recent graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field (Mechatronics, Control & Automation).
• Strong foundation in electrical circuits, electronics, and control systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming; familiarity with SCADA/HMI is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar tools is advantageous.
• Good command of English and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
