Procurement Specialist - Raw Materials and Additives

About the role
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and acquisition of raw materials and additives for our cement, clinker, ready‑mix concrete and aggregate operations. You will ensure uninterrupted supply, optimise costs and support our sustainability goals.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for raw materials and additives.
- Execute sourcing and tender procedures in line with company policies, ethics and budgets.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal commercial terms, costs and payment conditions.
- Prepare, review and administer procurement contracts in coordination with Legal, HSE, HR and other stakeholders.
- Maintain timely supply of critical materials to guarantee operational continuity.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Oversee supplier evaluation, qualification and performance assessments.
- Track guarantees, contractual obligations and compliance requirements.
- Maintain procurement master data, commercial terms and supplier information in ERP/SAP.
- Coordinate price adjustments, supplier reconciliations and contract execution.
- Build strong relationships with internal production teams and external suppliers.
- Contribute to process improvement, digitalisation and operational‑excellence initiatives.
- Support risk‑management and business‑continuity activities related to procurement.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, energy and health‑and‑safety standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain management, preferably in manufacturing, cement or construction‑materials sectors.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, tender management, contract administration and supplier relationship management.
- Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements and reducing procurement costs.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
