Long-Term IT Intern - AI & Power Platform

About the role

Novartis Türkiye is looking for a long-term IT intern to join its IT/OT team at the Kurtköy site in Istanbul. You will work with the site's AI Champions to help colleagues find AI use cases, build practical solutions and adopt AI tools in their daily work. The internship is available at least 3 days per week and the university covers internship insurance (SGK).

Key responsibilities

• Be the go-to contact for AI questions at the site, helping colleagues discover, try and adopt AI tools.
• Collect AI use cases from different teams and help turn them into working solutions.
• Build AI agents and chatbots with Microsoft Copilot Studio to automate tasks and answer common questions.
• Build Power BI dashboards and reports that turn data into clear insights.
• Develop Power Apps and Power Automate flows to digitalize manual processes.
• Use vibe coding (building apps, scripts and prototypes with approved AI coding assistants) to move from idea to working solution quickly.
• Promote AI awareness through short demos, tips and how-to guides, and promote responsible use of AI in line with company guidelines.
• Share new ideas, try new technologies and help keep improving.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th-year university student in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• Available at least 3 days per week; internship insurance covered by the university.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Curious, proactive and motivated to learn and experiment, with a problem-solving mindset and good communication skills, including explaining technology to non-technical colleagues.

Required skills

• Experience with, or strong willingness to learn, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Vibe coding and generative AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT or similar.
• Having built your own project (Copilot agent, dashboard, app or AI side project) is a strong advantage; share a link to your portfolio or demo with your application.
